Occasionally a colleague will respond to a question or a PR comment I left with, "Claude says ..." (or even just a link to their conversation). I find that pretty grating because:

1. I also could have asked Claude, but I wanted your (human) input or response.
2. This is not just low-effort, but puts the burden on me to interpret an LLM response.
3. Intentionally or not, it reads as "I'm not taking ownership of this."

By all means, prompt AI. But don't just relay the output. Read it, understand it, validate it, and then write a response in your own words (a decent certificate that you've done the prior steps). Making that effort is value you can add.

Otherwise, you're just being a "meat proxy".
